Our club is run strictly by parent volunteers. Your role as a volunteer for HSC is very important to the success of our club as well as having a great impact on your child's athletic experience and love of swimming. There are many opportunities for you to volunteer. We encourage you get involved in any of the following areas.
Meets:
HSC parents are expected to attend swim meets and assist in timing, awards, stroke judging or other capacities, when needed. All families are expected to assist at specific functions sponsored by HSC, i.e., 12 and Under Meet and State Meets
Special Functions:
Parents are also expected to time or otherwise assist in the operation of Super Sprints, Swim-A-Thons, or other announced HSC swimming activities.
Committees:
Throughout the year, you may be requested to assist in other ways vital to the success of the HSC program.
Fund Raisers:
These are important to raise funds for maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the facility. Each family is expected to assist with HSC fund raisers. Projected yearly fund raisers are:
HSC 12 and Under Meet – September or October
State Championship Meets
